Bancoagrícola brought together entrepreneurs from the SME segment in an exclusive space to explore the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on their businesses. This event, designed to share practical knowledge, marks a key step in Bancoagrícola’s commitment to strengthening the productive fabric of El Salvador.
Bancoagrícola’s Vice President of People and SMEs, Romeo Rivera, opened the event by highlighting the importance of technological innovation: “SMEs are the engine of economic development in our country. Today more than ever, technology is a strategic ally for their sustainable growth. We want them to discover how Artificial Intelligence can open doors to new opportunities and transform their processes”.
For Bancoagrícola it is very important to work with SMEs because they are a very important engine of the country’s economy and these spaces seek to strengthen the productive fabric accompanying them in innovation, to take on the challenges of the present and the future.
The central moment of the event was the presentation of Dr. Manuel Cardona, salvadoran pioneer in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, with more than 350 international conferences and an extensive legacy in technological innovation. During his presentation, Dr. Cardona shared practical applications of AI for SMEs, from process automation to data-driven decision making.
“We are living an era of transformation at a global level in which a series of disruptive technologies that are changing and creating new paradigms are incorporated, which include cloud computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, the internet of things, among others, which represents a valuable and unique opportunity for our SMEs to innovate, apply them and become more productive, efficient and competitive”, says Dr. Cardona.
The technology expert invited entrepreneurs to join this effort, as it ensures that their processes at all levels become efficient and the rate of return on investment is fast.
The attendees of the business meeting valued this space of accompaniment created by Bancoagrícola for its practical and strategic approach.
“This space helps us to open our minds, to think outside the box, and to try to move forward. I think Bancoagrícola is doing very well because it accompanies us to evolve together, so that we don’t fall behind and grow. It is a very nice partnership”, says Karen de Castellanos, of Industrial Colors.
“It is very important because Bancoagrícola supports us as companies to be able to implement or further develop data management and the operation of our businesses. This is the future”, said Isaac López, from Avícola San Joaquín.
“At Bancoagrícola, we are committed to accompanying them on this journey towards innovation. We want to be that ally that provides them not only access to financing, but also knowledge and tools to boost their competitiveness and sustainability”, concluded Roberto Villacorta, SME Commercial Manager of Bancoagrícola.
Bancoagrícola reinforces its purpose of promoting sustainable development to achieve the welfare of all, which largely means supporting SMEs in their transition to a digital future, recognizing Artificial Intelligence as a key to sustainable growth and economic development of their businesses and the country.
