A high-level delegation from the U.S. company ROKiT visited El Salvador to evaluate investment and expansion opportunities. The company, with presence in sectors such as food and beverages, technology, telecommunications and more, has identified the country as a potential logistics center for the production and export of carbonated beverages, as well as housing and coffee projects.
The visit was organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of El Salvador in Los Angeles, which arranged meetings with institutions such as the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Housing and the Investment and Export Agency (INVEST). Meetings were also facilitated with local companies to explore business alliances.
The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adriana Mira, highlighted the impact of economic diplomacy in securing this visit. According to the official, ROKiT representatives are impressed by the security climate and business opportunities in the country, in addition to the advances in legal stability and investment facilities.
ROKiT’s executive director, Jan S. Kluth, expressed enthusiasm for the possibilities offered by El Salvador, qualifying the country as an attractive destination for new projects. During their stay, they will also explore tourist areas and security-related aspects.
El Salvador continues to position itself as a strategic point for international investment, thanks to the government’s efforts and the improvement of economic and social conditions.
