The growth of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in El Salvador has reached 25% on a national scale, driven by the climate of security that the country is experiencing. Thanks to the strategies implemented by the Government of El Salvador, a favorable environment has been generated for investment and the expansion of these businesses, which are key to the salvadoran economy.

The figures are convincing: in San Salvador, the growth of MSEs has reached 64%, while in municipalities that were previously besieged by gangs, such as Apopa (227%), La Campanera (319%) and Las Margaritas (187%), the rebound has been even more significant. This phenomenon demonstrates how security has been a determining factor for economic reactivation in communities that previously had few opportunities for development.
The strengthening of MSEs not only represents more jobs and better income for salvadoran families, but also a boost to local production and the dynamism of trade. The confidence of entrepreneurs has grown, and more and more people are daring to invest, diversify their businesses and offer new products and services.

With a safe and stable environment, El Salvador continues to consolidate itself as an attractive country for entrepreneurship and investment. The transformation that the country is undergoing allows projecting a promising future, where MSEs will continue to play a key role in economic growth and the welfare of the population.
