Walmart Mexico and Central America will hold three informational sessions so that small, medium-sized, and large businesses in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica can learn more about the Walmart Central America Growth Summit.

This initiative, held for the first time in Central America, will allow for business negotiations with potential suppliers of products manufactured, grown, and assembled in the region. The following sessions will be held on april 14 and 22, respectively.

It is important to remember that this first edition of the “Walmart Central America Growth Summit” welcomes product proposals from companies that register for the program – free of charge – from april 1 to may 2, 2025, through the website: www.rangeme.com/growthsummitcam
Companies that complete their application by may 2 and meet the quality and marketing criteria will be invited to participate in the in-person and virtual event on july 30 and 31. They will participate in learning and networking sessions with various areas of Walmart Central America, Global Sourcing, and the Walmart International Marketplace. They will also have 30-minute one-on-one meetings to present their products to the Walmart Central America Purchasing team.

The Walmart Growth Summit is an initiative that began eleven years ago in the United States under the name “Walmart Open Call” as an open invitation to local suppliers to join its supplier network. To date, markets such as Mexico, India, and Chile, where Walmart operates, are already part of this initiative.
