Today, a new group of salvadoran workers departed for Canada as part of the Labor Migration Program promoted by the Ministry of Labor. The head of this ministry, Rolando Castro, provided details of the transfer through a press conference broadcast on social media, emphasizing that the participants travel with all legal and social security guarantees, under decent and fair conditions.

Castro emphasized that this labor migration model operates cyclically, allowing workers to return to the country between seasons and maintain ties with their families and communities. “It is a circular migration that does not break roots or disconnect people from their family nucleus. This is how we continue to transform lives”, the official stated.
The minister also highlighted the quality and reputation of the salvadoran workforce abroad, calling it “the best in the world”. Thanks to this letter of introduction, he assured that new opportunities continue to open for national talent in various international labor markets.
In a post on his official social media accounts, the minister reiterated that the program guarantees safe and fair working conditions. “Today, our workers travel safely, fairly, and with dignity, as they should”, he wrote, reaffirming the government’s commitment to creating real employment opportunities abroad.

The minister of Labor announced that in the next 15 days, a new country will be announced as part of the Labor Migration Program, with another contingent ready to represent El Salvador abroad. This initiative is consolidated as an orderly and beneficial alternative for both workers and their families.
