Seventy returned migrants in the departments of Usulután and La Unión successfully completed technical training courses in international cuisine, bakery and solar panels, as part of the “Perspectives” project, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation (SWISSCONTACT).

These trainings were developed within the framework of the “Transforming Lives” program, which seeks to provide practical tools to returnees to facilitate their productive and sustainable reintegration into their communities of origin. Technical training is a fundamental pillar in enabling participants to start their own businesses or enter the labor market more easily.

In addition to technical knowledge, the beneficiaries received training in soft skills and financial counseling, components that strengthen their entrepreneurial profile and promote viable and sustainable economic initiatives at the local level.

With these types of programs, the Government of President Nayib Bukele continues to prioritize the returnee population, facilitating their productive inclusion and contributing to improve their quality of life and that of their families.
These actions are part of the institutional commitment to generate real development opportunities for salvadorans returning to the country, betting on training, entrepreneurship and rooting in their territories.
