The Asociación Salvadoreña de Industriales (ASI), announces the 12th Annual Regional Energy Congress (COREN 2025) under the theme “Energy for the Future: Boosting Salvadoran Production,” to be held on september 3, 4, and 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Presidente Hotel.
The congress has established itself as the most important energy event in Central America and the Caribbean, positioning El Salvador as a leader in this field. The three-day event will bring together national and international experts, who will share key information on trends, innovations, and opportunities in the energy sector.

The speakers at COREN 2025 will include: Mónica Sofia Miranda, Commercial manager for El Salvador, EDECSA; Efren Castillo, Vice President of Development for Latin America, EDP – Energía del Pacífico; Eng. Eder Antonio Guillén, Product Manager Energy S.A. of C.V.

The keynote addresses will be given by specialists such as:
Day 1: Edwin Mejía Reyes, Energy Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), on the topic “Dialogue, Modernization, and Regional Integration”.

Day 2: José Ramón Gómez, Lead Regional Energy Coordinator at the IDB, will present “Regional Energy Security and Sustainable Transition”.

Day 3: Gerordo Pérez, Business Development Manager at SIEMENS Mexico, will present “Technological Platforms for Carbon Footprint Traceability and Compliance: A Success Story with the State of Queretaro”.

Participants will learn about experiences and tools that contribute to the country’s productive transformation through the use of renewable energy, resource efficiency, industrial digitalization, the integration of new infrastructure, and the impact of public policies on the sector’s sustainability.

Through COREN 2025, ASI reaffirms its commitment to creating spaces for updating and reflection, aimed at generating solutions and growth opportunities for the salvadoran industry, promoting a sustainable and competitive energy model that strengthens national production.
