The government of President Nayib Bukele continues to guarantee legal security for thousands of salvadorans. Through the Ministry of Housing, more than 72,500 families affected by the Corporación Argoz have recovered their assets, equivalent to $725 million, as part of the regularization process promoted by the current administration.
This effort allows thousands of families, who waited decades for a solution, to now have the peace of mind of holding the title to their homes in their hands.

“I am so grateful to the President for all his efforts to give us our deeds. I had been waiting for this for 34 years, but I knew that one day someone would come along who would work to make this happen”, said Daysi Crespo, a beneficiary of the program, during the delivery of the deeds.

Housing minister Michelle Sol emphasized that this process reaffirms the government’s commitment to the most vulnerable families and their right to decent housing. “Tell your family and friends that you now have your deed. Like you, there are many more who are still waiting, and we assure you that we are working tirelessly. This Christmas, thousands of families will be able to celebrate knowing that their assets are protected and that they will never be defrauded again”, she said.
On tuesday, minister Sol will deliver property deeds to families belonging to 35 subdivisions that were victims of fraud by the Corporación Argoz. With these actions, the government is consolidating its policy of restoring rights and reinforcing Salvadorans’ trust in institutions.
