The Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE) held a showroom and business roundtable to explore the Milan, Italy market and boost the internationalization of salvadoran companies belonging to the Official Fashion and Home Cluster (SMODA). The initiative was supported by the Fondo Especial de los Recursos Provenientes de la Privatización de ANTEL (FANTEL) and coordinated by the institution’s Marketing Unit.

Fourteen salvadoran companies participated in the event, presenting their product catalogs to the Italian-Salvadoran Agency for International Trade Promotion (PROMOITSA), a platform with a presence in more than 30 regions worldwide dedicated to promoting 100% salvadoran products in international markets.

The participating companies represent sectors such as accessories, food, textiles, and apparel, showcasing a wide range of the country’s creative talent and manufacturing capabilities. The event aims to strengthen these brands’ presence in the competitive European market and open new export opportunities.

CONAMYPE reiterated its invitation to entrepreneurs and small business owners interested in accessing training, workshops, and specialized services to visit their nearest regional center or contact the institution’s official numbers.
