The Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group), in partnership with the Government of El Salvador and Grupo Agrisal, announced the 2025 edition of the Global Entrepreneurship and Technology Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean, GET Forum, formerly known as IDB Lab Forum. The event will take place from november 30 to december 2 in San Salvador.
GET Forum has established itself as one of the most important innovation and technology gatherings in the region, bringing together investors, ecosystem developers, startup CEOs, business leaders, sector experts, public officials, and representatives from the IDB Group. The goal is to create a space where innovation, technology, and development converge to address regional challenges.
César Buenadicha, acting head of the Ecosystem Development and Acceleration Division at IDB Lab, highlighted the forum’s importance in strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems. “GET Forum is an expression of the value that the IDB Group and its partners bring to the region, connecting it with the world, fostering business opportunities, and creating spaces for knowledge exchange”, he said.
The 2025 edition will be held under a public-private partnership model, integrating more than 30 sponsoring partners. The event will focus on three pillars: talent development to generate economic opportunities, the promotion of investment and venture capital, and policies that enable innovation and growth in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The activities will kick off on november 30 with the “Villa de Innovación GET Forum” at Parque Cuscatlán , open to the public and designed to bring technology and entrepreneurship closer to the community. On december 1 and 2, the Hotel Hilton San Salvador will host plenary sessions, panels, workshops, startup pitches, and networking opportunities.
GET Forum 2025 will bring together more than 130 speakers from 25 countries, including leading figures in the global ecosystem such as Andrés Bilbao, co-founder of Rappi; Eric Acher, co-founder of Monashees; Siim Sikkut, a leading figure in digital transformation; Guy Nae, a public sector technology expert; and Jonathan Ortmans, president of the Global Entrepreneurship Network. International organizations such as Meta, Seedstars, Mercado Libre, and Wayra/Telefónica will also participate.
With this edition, the GET Forum reaffirms its objective of building bridges between the public and private sectors, between Latin America, the Caribbean, and the world, and between entrepreneurs and investors to promote new technological solutions with regional impact.
