Higher education institutions join initiative expanding access to higher education in the country

Today, the 37 institutions of higher education that are joining a new educational model were officially presented. This model aims to eliminate the historical barriers that for decades prevented thousands of Salvadorans from accessing higher education. The incorporation of these institutions marks a significant step forward in expanding academic opportunities nationwide.

The event was attended by the Vice President of the Republic, Félix Ulloa Jr., who also serves as Rector of the Escuela Superior de Innovación en la Administración Pública (ESIAP). ESIAP maintains an agreement with the Directorate of Integration, an alliance considered key within this educational expansion process.

The Vice President’s presence reaffirmed the government’s support for this access model, which seeks to democratize professional training and open concrete alternatives for more salvadorans to continue their higher education without the limitations that existed in the past.
