Representatives from the salvadoran coffee farming sector gathered at Art and Coffee Night, an event that showcased a synergy between music and visual arts inspired by coffee culture.
The event promoted the national beverage par excellence, highlighting the aroma and flavor of coffee as a way to strengthen El Salvador’s connection with the rest of the world.

The president of the Instituto Salvadoreño del Café (ISC), Mauricio Sansivirini, said: “The fourth edition of Art and Coffee Night was a great opportunity to celebrate the culture of good coffee in an artistic setting that underscores the importance of Salvadoran coffee farming, especially in economic, social, and cultural terms”.
The event, held on december 1st, also promoted domestic coffee consumption and innovation in derived products and by products such as wine, liquor, and beer.

Furthermore, the event highlighted the connection between art, gastronomy, and tourism, boosting the local economy by generating employment and promoting coffee as a symbol of salvadoran identity and pride. More than 40 artists showcased over 100 works, explained Iris Machón, director of Premium Art Gallery.
The government’s efforts, coordinated between the Instituto Salvadoreño del Café (ISC), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are yielding positive results, as they are fundamental for opening new international markets through coffee tastings in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Colombia, South Korea, the United States, Guatemala, Israel, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and other countries.
