Labor minister Rolando Castro announced that a meeting of the Consejo Superior del Trabajo will be held next week. This gathering will bring together representatives from various sectors and will include national guests and international delegates.
According to the minister, the event will be a formal ceremony and will serve as a forum for discussing labor-related issues, as well as recent events that have shaped the country’s agenda regarding labor and international relations.

One of the main topics to be addressed during the meeting will be El Salvador’s removal from the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Shortlist. According to Castro, this development is part of the progress that will be analyzed with the meeting’s participants.
In addition, the session will address aspects related to the country’s image on the international stage and the changes that, according to the minister, have contributed to strengthening El Salvador’s perception of labor issues. The meeting will also address other issues related to the development of relations between workers, employers, and the government.
The Consejo Superior del Trabajo provides a forum for dialogue where representatives from various sectors connected to the world of work converge, allowing for the exchange of opinions and the discussion of topics of common interest.

Referring to the upcoming meeting, Castro reiterated the importance of maintaining coordination and joint work among workers, employers, and the government. He maintained that unity among these sectors will be key to continuing to promote initiatives that contribute to the country’s development.
The meeting will take place in a context where the Ministry of Labor seeks to strengthen dialogue mechanisms and follow up on issues related to the labor sector and El Salvador’s international standing.
