The Executive Director of COAMSS-OPAMSS, Luis Rodríguez, announced a new cooperation agreement with Spanish partners aimed at strengthening the development vision for the Área Metropolitana de San Salvador (AMSS) and the country.
Within the framework of this joint effort with the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in El Salvador, ICEX and the Canary Islands Representation, work is underway with 10 Spanish companies to project future investments in the country.
Areas of interest include tourism, new technologies, and real estate development, with the goal of structuring an investment portfolio supported by NIX, an artificial intelligence platform with geospatial analysis backed by the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID).
Among the companies involved are INNOVARIS, EME SPACES, PROEXCA, ELLITORAL, EVM GROUP, and HMS INTELLIGENCE, all of which have expressed interest in investing and contributing to El Salvador’s economic growth.
This process seeks to consolidate new investment opportunities and strengthen international economic cooperation in sectors that are strategic for the country’s development.
