
The Government of El Salvador, through the Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE) and the Ministerio de Turismo (MITUR), with support from the Agencia de Cooperación Internacional de Corea (KOICA), the Agencia de El Salvador para la Cooperación Internacional (ESCO), the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (RREE) and the Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD), held a business roundtable with entrepreneurs benefiting from the project “Development of dynamic micro and small enterprises for the economic reactivation of El Salvador.”
The event aimed to generate business opportunities for the participating MSMEs, facilitating connections with potential buyers and strategic partners to strengthen their growth and market position.

Fourteen companies benefiting from the project participated in the business roundtable, presenting their products and services to approximately 50 potential buyers and strategic partners, fostering the establishment of new business relationships and opportunities.
The event took place during a visit by high-level representatives from KOICA, UNDP, ESCO, MITUR, and CONAMYPE, who learned firsthand about the project’s results and its contribution to strengthening the business capacities of salvadoran MSMEs.

The visit also demonstrated how the interventions implemented through this initiative are fostering the creation of business opportunities, strengthening productivity, and revitalizing local economies, thus contributing to the country’s economic recovery.
With these actions, the Government of El Salvador reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting initiatives that strengthen the competitiveness of micro and small enterprises, promote local economic development, and generate greater growth opportunities for the national productive sector.
