The Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE) signed a letter of understanding with Millenium 3000 Enterprise INC to facilitate the opening of a sales office in Dallas, Texas, United States, with the aim of expanding sales opportunities for products made by salvadoran micro and small enterprises (MYPE) in the U.S. market.
The initiative is part of CONAMYPE’s Marketing Center Program, which seeks to establish alliances with business partners abroad to promote El Salvador’s exportable goods and help local businesses connect with new international markets. Through this agreement, the institution aims to strengthen the channels available so that salvadoran businesses with export potential can showcase their products outside the country.
The partnership also aims to help MSEs showcase their production capabilities, strengthen their commercial relationships, and explore new growth opportunities. The opening of this space in Dallas provides a way to bring Salvadoran products closer to potential buyers and facilitate contact with commercial actors interested in domestic products.

As part of the planned initiatives, CONAMYPE will set up a showroom featuring products from micro and small businesses across various sectors. In this space, representatives of the new trading company will be able to examine the products firsthand, learn about their features, and assess the production capacities of the participating businesses, with the goal of identifying those with the potential to be marketed in the U.S. market.
The showroom will also allow for an assessment of the available offerings and the exploration of potential business partnerships. In this way, participating companies will have the opportunity to present their products to a commercial partner seeking to help them establish a foothold abroad, although the agreement does not, in and of itself, guarantee that all items on display will automatically enter the U.S. market.
According to data from the Programa de Casas Comercializadoras de CONAMYPE, has established more than 40 international partnerships in countries such as Honduras, the United States, Canada, France, Colombia, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy, Israel, and China. These agreements aim to expand promotional and marketing opportunities for Salvadoran micro and small enterprises (MYPE) in various markets.

Among the products that stand out most in this sales channel are handicrafts, which account for 34%; coffee, at 28%; clothing, at 22%; handbags, at 9%; footwear, at 5%; and chocolate, at 2%. This breakdown reflects the variety of products offered by participating companies and the sectors represented through this program.
By signing the memorandum of understanding with Millenium 3000 Enterprise INC, CONAMYPE seeks to expand opportunities for salvadoran micro and small businesses to strengthen their international presence. The initiative aims to connect domestic production with potential buyers in the United States and to facilitate local businesses’ access to new marketing channels.
