With the purpose of positioning the salvadoran exportable offer in the world, the Embassy of El Salvador in the Netherlands participated together with the Dutch-Salvadoran Bilateral Chamber in a diplomatic and commercial event of promotion and information about Ron Guazapa, as part of the national exportable offer.

The activity was sponsored by Persian Caviar, a strategic ally that opened the doors of its facilities in the city of The Hague, to receive local businessmen, representatives of the Dutch government, members of the diplomatic corps and potential buyers of this salvadoran rum.

The focus of this event was to showcase the unique mystique of Ron Guazapa as a high quality product, aimed especially at potential business partners in the demanding European market.
The event was attended by the ambassador of El Salvador in the Netherlands, Agustín Vásquez Gómez, who highlighted the dynamism of the Dutch-Salvadoran Bilateral Chamber, chaired by Sonia Meijer, and its constant commitment to promote salvadoran production in Europe.
He also said that these efforts are in line with national priorities to diversify and expand the presence of salvadoran products internationally. The tasting was accompanied by a carefully selected gastronomic selection designed to enhance the properties of the rum.
Representatives of the senior management of Ron Guazapa participated in virtual mode, giving a presentation in which they shared with the audience the rich history of the brand, as well as the distinctive features of the production process and the unique characteristics of its different presentations, including Ron Guazapa Dorado, Light, Guazapa 5 and Guazapa 8.

Attendees tasted Guazapa Rum both in its pure form and in cocktails specially prepared for the occasion. The experience was led by rum expert Gianni Dubipersad, who guided attendees through the tasting, highlighting the different notes present in each drink and explaining how specific production and storage techniques influence the rum’s final flavor profile.
This meeting was also attended by distinguished Latin American diplomats from Guatemala, Peru, Cuba, Uruguay and Brazil, Chile and Ecuador, as well as members of the prestigious Sociëteit de Witte, Dutch businessmen and prominent figures of the dutch civil society interested in promoting and acquiring salvadoran products.
