The government of President Nayib Bukele has awakened the interest of the international community due to the success achieved in the transformation promoted in the country, especially in the area of security, in which the way in which organized crime has been dismantled is already taken as an example.
The Vice President of the Republic, Felix Ulloa, highlighted the participation of different government officials in the International Conference on State and Democracy (CIED) to make transparent and explain to the world the successful model implemented in our country. He highlighted the success of this event that concluded this wednesday afternoon.
“It has been the heads of the different State portfolios, officials responsible for strategic projects who have attested to the progress that El Salvador has made. All this is based on the security that the nation has recovered, on the harmony that has returned to the communities and on the effectiveness of the Plan Control Territorial”, said Vice President Ulloa.
Representatives from countries around the world learned about the experience that has been had in different areas and that now allow to be competitive in the contemporary world. The presentations also made reference to the similarities between the work being done by President Bukele’s government and that of developed countries in Europe, something that allows to be at the forefront in the region.
In the afternoon, there were presentations related to health, electoral and other issues. The Vice Minister of Health Management and Development, Carlos Alvarenga, highlighted the leadership of President Bukele to achieve the transformation of the country.
“The political support and leadership of President Bukele has been important to change the realities of health, a strategic vision has been created where we implement different lines of work (…) This is strongly impacting different programs and we are changing health indicators”, said Alvarenga.
Participation in the CIED has allowed the Government to demonstrate the work and achievements that allow the nation to give an image of fully advancing towards progress and development.
