Kodigo, a creative technology academy in El Salvador specializing in artificial intelligence, data, and software development, presents “UNLOCK OPPORTUNITIES with AI by Kodigo 2.0”, its annual initiative aimed at accelerating the practical adoption of artificial intelligence and preparing talent for the needs of a changing job market. Among its new offerings are the Lesson Lab tool, KodiTutor, and new boot camps for professionals.
The launch brought together guests from the business, technology, and education sectors to learn about the evolution of Kodigo’s initiative and its new approaches to integrating artificial intelligence into learning and work. The agenda includes the panel “AI Talent for El Salvador: How Do We Accelerate?”, featuring representatives from ANEP, INCAF, ANIA, and the private sector.

This year’s launch marks a shift in focus: moving from learning to using artificial intelligence tools to developing the skills needed to work with them, integrate them into real-world processes, and capitalize on the opportunities they open up for individuals and organizations.

“Artificial intelligence is opening new opportunities for people, businesses, and countries. The challenge is to prepare talent to take advantage of this transformation and turn technology into a tool that generates real value. At Kodigo, we believe that El Salvador can develop the necessary skills to compete in this new economy. We want more people to be prepared, and that is why our purpose remains the same: to build together toward an abundance of opportunities”, said Fernando Kriete, founder and CEO of Kodigo.
More than 1,780 people in artificial intelligence programs

As of october 2026, more than 1,780 people have participated in Kodigo’s specialized programs in this field, with a total of 70 cohorts and 14 programs developed. Kodigo’s mission is to train more than 10,000 people in artificial intelligence by 2030, with an approach focused on making these skills accessible to more professionals and companies and facilitating their application in the workplace. The launch of Unlock 2.0 aims to accelerate this journey.

This goal addresses a growing challenge: as AI technologies evolve rapidly, individuals and organizations need to develop new skills to effectively incorporate them into their activities.
Speed in responding to technological advances

“Last year we talked about learning with AI. This year we’re taking the next step: working with AI. Technology is advancing exponentially, but the way we learn remains linear, and opportunities are lost in that gap. The question is no longer whether we know how to use AI, but what we’re capable of doing with it”, said Ricardo Chávez, CEO of Kodigo.
In an environment where new AI tools and applications are constantly emerging, the speed at which learning content and experiences are developed becomes a key factor in keeping training aligned with market needs. One of Kodigo’s key differentiators is its ability to transform emerging market needs into new training experiences.

With Lesson Lab, its new AI-powered development process, Kodigo can create validated training courses from start to finish in 48 hours, a process that can take up to six months using traditional educational development models.

Likewise, KodiTutor, created by Kodigo, is an AI-powered tutor that enhances the learning process for Kodigo students by personalizing the educational experience to meet each student’s individual needs, available 24/7 always.
Kodigo’s approach isn’t just about incorporating artificial intelligence as an additional component within education, but about integrating it into the way people learn, work, and develop new skills.
