With the goal of boosting the local economy and highlighting the contributions of women entrepreneurs, the Comisión Nacional de la Micro y Pequeña Empresa (CONAMYPE), in coordination with the Instituto Salvadoreño para el Desarrollo de la Mujer (ISDEMU), held the MERCAMUJER Fair at the Centro Especializado para la Mujer (CEM).

The event brought together micro and small enterprises (MSEs) led by women from various municipalities such as La Libertad Oeste, Quezaltepeque, Santa Tecla, Zaragoza, and Juayúa. Participating businesses included DecoArt, Sacacoyito, Pizza El Pánico, POS3, Los Rodríguez, Chehe Artesanías, Dulce Tentación Creaciones, Don Leo, Gustitos Lourdes, Fany, and Villa Franco, among others.
This fair represents a key platform for female entrepreneurs to strengthen their marketing skills, expand their network of contacts, and access new markets. It also promotes women’s economic autonomy, a key aspect for reducing gender gaps and promoting sustainable community development.

MERCAMUJER is part of a series of initiatives promoted by CONAMYPE to empower female entrepreneurship, also offering workshops, training, consulting, and access to business support services through its regional centers.
Women interested in accessing these services can call 2592-9100 or 7074-7074, or visit the nearest CONAMYPE regional center to receive personalized guidance and continue strengthening their entrepreneurial journey.
