The Ministerio de Economía (MINEC) has announced that during the first half of 2024, El Salvador has managed to export more than US$170 million in technology, consolidating its position as an attractive destination for companies dedicated to innovation and technology. This figure reflects the country’s growth and potential in the high-tech manufacturing sector.
In addition, MINEC has revealed that in 2023, value added in the information and communications sector will exceed US$1 billion. This performance represents a 4% growth rate compared to the previous year, underscoring the robustness and dynamism of the technology sector in El Salvador.
