The Museo de los Niños proudly celebrates 25 years of being a great reference for learning and fun in El Salvador. Committed to inspiration, education and strengthening family ties, it offers unique learning experiences through play. Since its founding, more than 3.5 million visitors, both national and international, have explored this magical space, under the philosophy of “learning through play”, discovering more than 30 interactive and thematic exhibits that awaken the curiosity and broaden the horizons of the children who attend.
The museum facilitates play as one of the most powerful learning tools, promoting autonomy in children, encouraging their problem-solving skills and encouraging them to imagine a world full of possibilities. The Museo de los Niños is a place where dreams take shape and children can visualize their potential, while adults rediscover the value of learning together.
As a private non-profit association, the museum is sustained thanks to the generous support of benefactors, sponsors and the public, who by purchasing each ticket contribute to the sustainability of this unique space in El Salvador.
Thanks to its responsible management and constant innovation, the museum has managed to consolidate itself as a reference in childhood, play and learning in the region. Since its inception, it has established important alliances and, in recent years, has presented six international exhibitions and several temporary exhibits for the benefit of salvadoran children.
“The museum is a space where children not only learn, but discover who they are and what they can become. We celebrate these 25 years with pride and gratitude, and we renew our commitment to continue planting dreams in new generations”, said the museum’s director, Juan Carlos Novoa.
In Latin America, Tin Marín stands out for offering two exhibits dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and cyberbullying, addressing essential issues for the protection and welfare of minors. In addition, the Tin Marín Móvil program takes the museum experience to different corners of El Salvador, allowing more children to enjoy the magic of learning through play. As part of the 25th anniversary celebration, the museum has prepared a big party this november 16 and 17, with special activities for the whole family. During these days, visitors will be able to enjoy piñatas, cake, stage shows and many more surprises, thanks to the generous support of its sponsors. In addition, both children and adults will be able to dress up as dinosaurs and win a surprise prize thanks to Tin Marín.
