The Central Government continues to promote tourism development in El Salvador through the implementation of modern, accessible infrastructure projects for all. One of the most recent projects is the renovation of the Costa del Sol Recreational Park in San Luis La Herradura, La Paz Centro, one of the country’s most emblematic natural gems. The president of the Instituto salvadoreño de Turismo, Eny Aguiñada, announced that this space will open its doors to the public next friday, october 31, marking a new chapter in the national tourism industry.

“This infrastructure has received an investment of US$8 million to return to Salvadorans a decent, quality park with first-class infrastructure. We have 17 rooms for accommodation, with capacity for one to three people. We have considered the needs of people who needed to stay during long trips,” added the head of the ISTU. With each project delivered, the Government of the President of the Republic reaffirms its commitment to the country’s social, economic, and tourism development. National recreational parks are consolidating as family gathering spaces, driving forces for the local economy, and symbols of El Salvador’s new face.

“We will officially open the doors to the public of our Costa del Sol Recreational Park starting this friday, october 31st. You are cordially invited, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you want to spend the day, that is an option; but if you want to stay overnight, we also have accommodations and various beachfront spaces”, the official reported.

Located on one of the most renowned beaches in the coastal area, this space has undergone a comprehensive transformation process, ranging from the improvement of its facilities to the creation of new relaxation and entertainment areas. The Salvadoran government has committed to a vision that combines tourism development with environmental preservation, ensuring that each project is executed according to sustainability criteria. This comprehensive approach strengthens El Salvador’s position as a responsible, world-class tourist destination.
