The companies of AES El Salvador: AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, AES DEUSEM, and its generation plant Nejapa, together with their respective sections of the Sindicato de la Industria Eléctrica de El Salvador (SIES), were awarded the Premio Nacional a la Negociación Colectiva, granted by the Ministerio de Trabajo y Previsión Social to those institutions that promote the best collective bargaining agreements for the benefit of their employees and promote dialogue and negotiation.
