The second edition of this contest held in 2021 was promoted and organized by the Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero (SSF), the Federación de Cajas de Crédito y de Bancos de los Trabajadores (FEDECRÉDITO), the country's universities and DSIK.

The objective of the contest, developed between september and december 2021, was for participants to learn about the functions of the Stock Exchange, in addition to interpreting relevant news from the economic, political and social environment in order to have a close experience as real actors in the stock market decision making process.

SISTEMA FEDECRÉDITO awarded a total of US$3,450.00 in prizes, distributed as follows: first place US$1,500.00, second place US$1,200.00 and 3 tablets with an approximate value of US$250.00 each for the third place team members.

Mario Ernesto Menéndez Alvarado, Superintendent of the Financial System, Macario Armando Rosales Rosa, President and CEO of FEDECRÉDITO, and Rolf Grempel, Director of the German Sparkassenstiftung in El Salvador, were present at the awards ceremony, which took place on thursday, february 10 at the FEDECRÉDITO Auditorium, where they presented the awards.
