The economic cycle is a set of economic phenomena that occur in each time or period, further divided into four phases depending on which stage, upward or downward, the economy is in.
The volume of economic activity in El Salvador grew 3.7% in may 2023
The Banco Central de Reserva (BCR), informed that in may 2023 Índice de Volumen de Actividad Económica (IVAE) grew 3.7% compared to the same period of 2022, reflecting the contribution of the development of various public and private investment projects, the dynamism of credit granting for investment and consumption, as well as the recovery of industrial activity.
The Volume of Economic Activity index showed a 3.9% growth in april 2023
In El Salvador, the Índice de Volumen de Actividad Económica (IVAE, seasonally adjusted series), registered a variation of 3.9% in april 2023 when compared to the same month of the previous year (interannual variation). This result is higher than the 2.1% recorded twelve months earlier.
