Gasoline to decrease US$0.09 and US$0.05 during the next 15 days

The Ministry of Economy (MINEC), informs salvadorans the decreases of US$0.09 and US$0.10 in fuel prices that will be in effect from tuesday, december 28, 2021 to january 10, 2022.

Superior gasoline for central, western and eastern zones will decrease US$0.09 with a suggested price of US$3.77 and US$3.73.

Regular gasoline in the central and western zones will decrease US$0.07 and in the eastern zone will decrease US$0.08 with a suggested price of US$3.65 and US$3.61.

As for diesel, it will decrease US$0.05 in the central, western and eastern zones with a suggested price of US$3.33 and US$3.29.

The decreases in fuel prices are due to the increase in gasoline and diesel reserves.

Salvadorans can visit the gas station of their preference and that presents prices that suit their pocket.

Remember that you can save fuel if you avoid making many accelerations, turn off the engine when you are in heavy traffic and try to use the air conditioning when it is totally necessary, this will help you save a few dollars.
