During the vehicle controls installed by the Central Government in more than 600 points nationwide, to ensure road safety for the population during the holiday period, they have detected that many drivers are driving with expired documents, an offense that makes them liable to a fine of US$11.43.

In order to make it easier for them to have their papers in order, they inform that they have extended the services for the renewal of the circulation card and driver's license at Sertracen today, thursday, august 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Vice Minister of Transportation, Saúl Castelar, explained that they traditionally close their services on tuesday of the week of august, but they have decided to extend the services of renewal and renewal of driver's license until thursday.

In other words, the population will be able to go to Sertracen offices nationwide to carry out this type of procedure; the Central Government calls on drivers not to risk being fined for this reason.

They are reminded that in the agencies located in the shopping center Las Cascadas, and Metrocentro San Salvador, you can also make use of digital kiosks where they can carry out these procedures in an agile way.

The official stressed that people can use the self-management machines that the institution has and it is a five-minute process.
