Banco Cuscatlán begins operations in Honduras

Banco Cuscatlán begins a new stage of regionalization by starting operations in Honduras, making effective its change of image, after Inversiones Cuscatlán Centroamérica, an investor in the financial sector at a regional level with ample solidity and experience in El Salvador and Guatemala, obtained the corresponding regulatory authorizations for the acquisition of the majority of the shares of Banco de los Trabajadores.

Inversiones Cuscatlán Centroamérica, seeks to enhance the best benefits and conditions in financial products and services for individuals, SMEs and companies in Honduras, implementing its best practices and regional experience in Banco Cuscatlán Honduras, forming part of the fastest growing group in the financial sector in the last 5 years in Central America.

The products and services under the Banco de los Trabajadores brand will be transferred to Banco Cuscatlán, maintaining the current conditions; customers will be able to carry out their transactions and formalities through Banco Cuscatlán's branches and channels.
