Today is the last day to pre-register in the electoral roll and apply for the early DUI

The Tribunal Supremo Electoral informs the salvadoran people that today monday, august 7, 2023, several stages of the National Electoral Calendar will close in compliance with the Law of Political Parties and the Electoral Code, which are part of the Elections 2024 process.

Today is the closing of the Electoral Registry that enables all citizens within the national territory to exercise their right to vote. 

Also, it is the closing of pre-registration in the Electoral Registry for young people who will be 18 years old between august 8, 2023 and march 2, 2024. DUIcentros nationwide will have extended hours, so that salvadorans can complete the process.

And it is the last day for the presentation of applications for the inscription of coalition pacts for the Presidential election and Deputies to the Legislative Assembly.

Likewise, the institution will be receiving until midnight tonight, monday, the applications for the registration of coalition pacts for the presidential and Legislative Assembly elections, proposals for members of the Departmental Electoral Boards and proposals for members of the Municipal Electoral Boards.
