Jaime García Oriani, CMI's Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager, received the "Business Success and Positive Impact" award for CMI's outstanding commitment to sustainability, reputation and good working environment.
The event was attended by leading executives of the recognized companies, together with the minister of Economy, María Luisa Hayem, who expressed that: "El Salvador is going through a moment of transformation and opportunities that is perceived in the interest of more local and international investors to establish or expand their operations in El Salvador", referring to foreign companies that have decided to invest and be part of the salvadoran economy as is the case of CMI.
Manuel Carranza, president of the magazine Derecho y Negocios, highlighted in his inaugural speech at the awards gala that: "The companies that receive the recognition, in addition to generating employment and boosting the economy, are integral references with solid sustainability practices, contributing to the welfare of communities; building a positive image over time; and labor culture, creating favorable environments for its employees".
