Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced that it has established a service integration with Tesla, being showcased at CES® 2024, which will connect SmartThings Energy to Tesla products such as the Powerwall home battery, solar inverter, Wall Connector charging solutions and electric vehicles (VE).

As the devices we use at home have become more diverse, so have the methods needed to connect them. From cloud-to-cloud connectivity (C2C), wireless connections (WiFi) and the Zigbee method, a variety of different systems have emerged as available for us to control our homes - a diversity that meant it took a while for the Internet of Things (IoT) to be applied consistently within the home.

With Samsung Galaxy's innovative technology SmartTag can be used as a remote control, when connected to smart devices such as air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, washing machines and smart lights, among others.
