The Delegation of the European Union (EU) in El Salvador announces the opening of the call for Erasmus Mundus Scholarships, an action of the EU’s flagship program: Erasmus+.
The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Scholarships offer the opportunity to study in two or more European countries and obtain a joint double degree. These scholarships cover the full cost of tuition, travel to the countries where the postgraduate studies take place, accommodation and a monthly living allowance of between EUR 1,200 and US$1,400.
University students can apply for these scholarships offered by the EU to study innovative and competitive master’s degrees. The first step to apply is to consult the catalog of more than 180 master’s degree programs available: https://ec.europa.eu/erasmus-mundus
Since 2014, when the program arrived in Latin America, 45 salvadorans have completed their master’s degree with Erasmus Mundus. The goal is to double the number of salvadorans selected for the 2025 academic year, which is why the campaign “Launch yourself on the journey of a lifetime!” is being promoted, an outreach initiative that seeks to inform about the study opportunities offered by these scholarships and increase applications from El Salvador.
The call will remain open until February 2025-subject to each master’s degree program and all salvadorans who meet the requirements are invited to apply and take advantage of this unique opportunity to enrich their academic and professional training.
