This Easter, visitors can tour the heart of the capital by bicycle, thanks to an initiative that promotes sustainable mobility and outdoor entertainment.
One of the main attractions is the bike station installed near the Metropolitan Cathedral, where people can borrow bicycles for free. This station operates every day from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., offering an accessible and safe option for exploring the city.
The measure has been well received by the citizenry. “We see it well, because it’s free; it’s healthy to ride a bicycle and it’s recreational to ride here, in downtown San Salvador”, said Yolman Segura. Testimonials like this one highlight the positive impact of the initiative.
