
Current revenues and contributions of the Central Government reached US$5,772.4 million as of july 31, 2026, representing an increase of US$640.0 million, equivalent to 12.5%, compared to the US$5,132.4 million recorded in the same period of 2025, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.
This growth was primarily driven by tax revenues and contributions, which totaled US$5,565.5 million, an increase of US$618.4 million compared to july 2025, also equivalent to a 12.5% increase.
Among the main sources of revenue, the Value Added Tax (VAT) stood out, accumulating US$2,518.8 million, a figure US$303.2 million higher than that recorded a year earlier, representing a growth of 13.7%.
Income Tax (ISR) generated US$2,517.1 million, an increase of US$261.8 million compared to the same period in 2025, equivalent to an expansion of 11.6%.

Other items that showed positive results were import duties, which grew by 10.1%, and selective consumption taxes, which increased by 8.0% year-on-year.
Non-tax revenues also registered favorable growth, reaching US$206.9 million, an increase of 11.6% compared to the same period in 2025.
Comparing only the results for june and july 2026, current revenues and contributions rose from US$719.2 million to US$763.0 million, an increase of US$43.8 million, equivalent to a monthly growth of 6.1%.

Tax revenue and contributions also showed monthly improvement, increasing from US$686.2 million in june to US$731.1 million in july, representing a 6.5% increase.
The main boost came from VAT, whose revenue rose from US$358.6 million to US$384.9 million between june and july, reflecting a 7.3% monthly increase. Within this tax, VAT on imports grew from US$188.4 million to US$227.4 million, while VAT on declarations decreased from US$170.3 million to US$157.5 million.
Likewise, income tax increased from US$250.6 million in june to US$262.8 million in july, equivalent to a 4.9% increase, confirming that july registered better performance in the collection of public resources and contributed to the double-digit cumulative growth observed during the first seven months of the year.
