Product quality alone is not always enough to access international markets. In addition to meeting production standards, companies must demonstrate, through analysis and technical testing, that their products meet the requirements of each export destination. Based on this premise, the Corporación de Exportadores de El Salvador (COEXPORT) held a specialized workshop for the export sector.
The workshop, titled “Continuous Validation and Revalidation of Analytical Methods for Export”, aimed to provide companies with the knowledge and tools to understand how to maintain the reliability of laboratory analyses over time and recognize when it is necessary to review or update the methods used.
According to COEXPORT, having reliable analytical results is a key element for companies seeking to compete in international markets. These analyses support characteristics such as product quality, safety, composition, and regulatory compliance—aspects that are often required by buyers, distributors, and regulatory authorities.

The trade association emphasized that reliable results depend not only on laboratory testing but also on implementing processes that guarantee the accuracy and consistency of analyses. Therefore, method validation and revalidation become fundamental tools to ensure that the results obtained remain reliable over time.
Training is part of COEXPORT’s efforts to strengthen the technical capabilities of salvadoran companies and prepare them for the growing demands of international trade. The organization regularly develops training programs related to export requirements, market trends, regulations, and quality processes.
In an environment where markets increasingly demand stricter controls and certifications, the reliability of analyses can become a determining factor in finalizing an export or maintaining business relationships with international buyers. A technical report supported by validated methods generates greater confidence and reduces risks for companies.

Furthermore, strengthening quality capabilities contributes to improving the competitiveness of salvadoran exports. This allows national products to better meet the technical requirements established by different countries and industrial sectors.
For COEXPORT, quality management must be an integral part of the growth strategy for exporting companies. The organization emphasized that the reliability of analytical results is not a matter of chance, but rather the result of continuous work to maintain robust, up-to-date evaluation processes aligned with international standards.
