Bitcoin starts the week with a US$54,400 rise

The Bitcoin cryptocurrency started the week trading at US$54,400, as gains spread across the entire universe of virtual currencies, now the total market capitalization of the digital asset market reaches US$2 trillion again.

Gains for Bitcoin, which in 2024 reach US$10,000 or 23.5%, are driven in recent hours by enthusiasm around spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which broaden the range of investors who can dabble in these virtual assets. Most analysts maintain a general optimism towards the future of the main cryptoasset.

Currently, Bitcoin is at the top of popularity in the digital market. It is worth mentioning that the historical maximum that this digital currency has reached is US$68,789.63 per unit.
