This is the second delivery of deeds to the families of San Antonio Caminos; a total of 35 deeds were delivered, in a coordinated work of the Mesa de Casos Colectivos that recovered an investment of US$147,200 in their favor. The families had to wait 20 years to receive the deeds to their homes.

This thursday, 19 property deeds were delivered to families of the San Antonio Caminos subdivision in San Vicente.

"We know that in the past there were many injustices, and the injustices that existed in not following up on such an important issue as the deeds to the properties of families, people who honestly bought their land, bought their lot, and were paying the land developers who did not want to respond", said Housing minister Michelle Sol.

More than 350,000 families have been identified as being in this condition, which is why the Government of El Salvador is working to provide a prompt solution through the Mesa de Casos Colectivos.

The Government of El Salvador works tirelessly to provide accompaniment and definitive solutions to salvadoran families, in the face of the non-compliance of irregular lotificaciones.
