President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. announced the designation of the Presidential Delegation to attend the inauguration of Nayib Bukele on june 1, 2024, in San Salvador City, El Salvador.

“We are honored to announce that the White House has designated a high-level Presidential Delegation, led by Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, to attend this june 1 inauguration ceremony of President Nayib Bukele,” stated the U.S. Embassy through the social network Twitter.

The Honorable Alejadro Mayorkas, US Secretary of Homeland Security, will lead the delegation.

The U.S. Presidential delegation will be composed of:

The Honorable William H. Duncan, Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of El Salvador.

The Honorable Marisa Lago, U.S. Assistant Secretary for International Trade, Department of Commerce

The Honorable Brian A. Nichols, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs

The Honorable Julieta Valls Noyes, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration, Department of State

The Honorable Daniel P. Erikson, Special Advisor to the President and Director for the Western Hemisphere, National Security Council, The White House.
