CAMARASAL encourages integral female development through the “Congreso Mujer y Liderazgo"

The Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (CAMARASAL) announced the realization of its XVII Congreso Mujer y Liderazgo called “Mujer a la cabeza de la transformación”, which for the second consecutive year will be held virtually, to protect the health of the attendees and avoid contagion of Covid-19.

The details of this edition of the XVII Congreso Mujer y Liderazgo were presented by the president of the association, Jorge Hasbún, who was accompanied by the vice-president of the Chamber's Businesswomen's Committee, Ana Lorena Flores, and representatives of the allied companies sponsoring the event.

The main objective of this event, born in the heart of the Chamber's Businesswomen Committee, is to empower salvadoran women in their different roles as part of the productive life of the country, as well as to prepare them for the challenges of today's reality, which require constant transformation. Strengthening women is vital, as they are the engine of the economy; as an example, only in the membership of the Chamber there are 700 companies that lead, which generate more than 7,000 direct jobs in the country.

"We believe it is important to continue strengthening the capacity of women, leaders and entrepreneurs to transform the world, and that is why we remain at the forefront of training and strengthening the skills of salvadoran women", said Jorge Hasbún, president of CAMARASAL.

The vice president of the committee explained that the XVII Congreso Mujer y Liderazgo will last three days, beginning on tuesday, july 20 with the presentation “Liderando la transformación digital en la era del trabajo híbrido”, given by the venezuelan expert Fanny Nouel. To start the second day, on july 21, Nieves Perez will give the talk “Bioquímica de la motivación: las tres claves de decisión del consumidor”.

Finally, on July 22, Claudia de Oropeza, a venezuelan living in Panama, will give a talk on “Fortaleza que trasciende: viviendo en tu diseño y propósito”

These presentations are free of charge, will be held in webinar format at 10 a.m. on the designated days and those interested can participate by registering through Zoom or in the live transmission through the Chamber's Facebook page.

Additionally, workshops will be held in the afternoons with limited space. On july 20, Sonia Mejía, Interior Designer, will give “Trabajar en casa” ; on july 21, Yolanda Medrano, Tigo Legal Sr. Manager, will share “¿Qué deben saber las PYMES sobre Privacidad de Datos?”; closing on July 22 with Patricia Arenas and David Restrepo, from Cromática Coaching, Colombia, who will share “Cambio y transformación: reconociéndome para cambiar”.
