Unemployed salvadorans can apply for jobs in the private sector

The Ministry of Labor continues to receive resumes from salvadorans interested in joining the private sector labor market.

The institution seeks to benefit those most in need through the following programs: Opportunities, Labor Insertion for people with disabilities and Labor Insertion for single mothers.

Single mothers, people with disabilities, young people between 18 and 21 years of age, with little or no work experience; adults, including those over 40 years of age, who are unemployed, and who want to start working this year, should take their resume to one of the 14 departmental offices of the Ministry of Labor.

In addition, the social networks of the State portfolio have been made available to salvadorans who are looking for a job, to include them in the labor exchange, and locate them as soon as employment options are opened according to their skills and abilities.

In the first month of the year, the institution has several job offers in different productive and service areas of the private sector, which are published in their social network accounts for those interested to send their resumes via email to be placed in a job.

In 2022, the Ministry of Labor confirmed that 15,000 people were placed in decent and fair jobs, according to their abilities and that, for this year, the goal is to double that figure.
