The Ministerio de Trabajo y Previsión Social announced that the seventh contingent of salvadorans to work in Canada is ready, with the support of the Government and the contracting companies.
Today, june 6, they will announce the departure of the seventh contingent of this year, bound for Canada. They are going with work visas for up to three years.
The Labor Migration program guarantees a safe and circular migration process, where public servants accompany them until they are safely in Canadian territory. Salvadorans gain new experiences, improve their income level and return to the country to be able to apply what they have learned and teach it to more people.
The Ministry of Labor is in contact with the contracting companies to maintain these ties in force.
The beneficiaries of the program in this seventh trip have been assigned to "construction work, gardening, agricultural (and) milk production, among others. And they are representing the departments of La Libertad, Cuscatlán, Ahuachapán, La Paz, San Vicente, Usulután, Sonsonate and San Salvador", explained minister Castro.
More than 7,000 people have been able to go to the north of the American continent with this government program, in order to show the salvadoran work ethic and its recognized ingenuity. The institution continues to manage jobs here in the country and abroad, transforming the lives of people who need it most.
