TELUS International inaugurates Torre Emblema

TELUS International El Salvador inaugurated its fourth operations center in El Salvador, Torre Emblema, located in Las Cascadas shopping center.

 

 

The company's leadership and growth, offering state-of-the-art solutions for global and disruptive brands, led them to invest US$29.2 million in this new service center.

"Torre Emblema is a state-of-the-art, LEED Gold certified building, located in the heart of one of the most important commercial areas of El Salvador. It will be the central point from which we will provide customer experience services, technical support, AI technology development and digital solutions to our customers", said Sebastian Bulanti, Senior Director of Marketing, Business Development, Infrastructure and Security for TELUS International Americas.

This building is a response to the growing demand for talent and growth of TELUS International in the region.

Torre Emblema has 19,350 m2, distributed in nine production floors, with capacity for more than 3,400 workplaces. In addition, each floor will have conference rooms, thematic rooms, meeting rooms, collaboration areas and spaces to receive feedback, as well as administrative offices.

José Calderón, Vice President of Operations of TELUS International El Salvador, highlighted that "Today we celebrate not only the inauguration of our fourth building in El Salvador, Torre Emblema, with an investment of US$29.2 million, but also an important event in our history:

Our tenth anniversary of becoming the Canadian brand, TELUS International, in El Salvador and in the region! This new building adds to a track record of success in our 18 years operating in the country."

Torre Emblema is inspired by the iconic landscapes and monuments of El Salvador; achieving an exquisite combination of colors in the finishes and furnishings of all operating floors, highlighting the blues and greens that distinguish the volcanoes of Izalco and Santa Ana or the spectacular turquoise tones of Lake Coatepeque and beaches such as El Tunco, El Zunzal and Costa del Sol.

In other areas, the orange tones of the beautiful views offered by the Montecristo park or the Ataco Walls will be appreciated.

The new operations center is equipped with a health and wellness area for our employees, which includes a medical clinic, a breastfeeding room, a beauty salon and training rooms. In addition, there will be a zen space for relaxation, a play area to enjoy and a cafeteria to arcade to enjoy and an open-air cafeteria with a wide variety of gastronomic options.

The building's technological innovations are impressive and designed to promote sustainability and safety.

Highlights include a carpet with a negative carbon footprint, electronic faucets that reduce water consumption, an energy efficiency system with LED lighting, three tiered ducts equipped with a pressurization system in case of fire, VRF air conditioning systems, and advanced fire detection and suppression mechanisms with sprinklers. Finally, Torre Emblema will have 910 parking spaces, eight 15-passenger elevators, a boardroom on the 16th floor with a 360o view, as well as terraces on the seventh, tenth, and fourteenth floors.
