The consumer price index (CPI) in the United States rose to 3.2% in february at a year-on-year rate, while compared to the previous month it increased by 0.4%, higher than analysts' expectations and below the 2% target set by the Federal Reserve (Fed).

According to the monthly bulletin released by the Banco Central de Reserva which includes the consumer price index, November registered a variation of 0.14% due to increases in various goods and services.

The annual variation rate of the Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) in El Salvador in january 2023 was 7%, 3 tenths lower than the previous month, according to the Oficina Nacional De Estadística Y Censos (ONEC).
