TELUS Digital reaffirms its commitment to El Salvador through donations of more than US$100,000

TELUS Digital El Salvador, through its outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility program and the Community Impact Fund, TELUS Digital of the Community Investment Committee of El Salvador reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable development of the country by donating more than US$100,000 annually in support of non-profit organizations. These contributions strengthen key initiatives in education, health, food security, environment, and community development.

Open call for social projects 2025

For the year 2025, TELUS Digital is opening two calls for NGOs legally registered in El Salvador to apply for funding of up to US$10,000 per proposal.

First call: Monday, february 3 to wednesday, april 30, 2025. Awards: June 2025.
Second call: Monday, june 2 to sunday, august 31, 2025. Awards: October 2025.

Interested NGOs may register through the following link: Call 2025. In addition, TELUS Digital will hold group and face-to-face information sessions in the interior of the country to guide applicants.

Contributing to the development of vulnerable communities through this program allows us to generate a significant impact in key sectors such as education, health, and the environment”, said Fiorella Amaya, Sr. Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at TELUS Digital.

Proven impact: transformational projects

The Community Investment Committee over 13 years has benefited more than 90,000 people, developing 166 projects with 102 nonprofit organizations.

In 2024 it has supported. 12 projects of social interest, to mention a few:

– Asociación Agua Viva: drinking water supply in vulnerable communities.

-Asociación Padre Vito Guarato: Strengthening the physiotherapy area with specialized equipment.

– Asociación CESAL: promoting recycling cooperativism for the socioeconomic inclusion of women heads of household.

Participation requirements:

Interested NGOs must have the approval of the Ministry of Finance to issue a donation receipt, have formal accounting, present a detailed project including budget, timeline, and visual evidence, and focus on at least one of the pillars: health, education, environment, arts and culture, food security or community development.

These initiatives are not only a show of solidarity, but also a testament to TELUS Digital’s commitment to building a more inclusive and prosperous future for all Salvadorans. This program is not only an act of generosity, but an investment in the welfare and development of the most vulnerable communities.
