According to the most recent edition of the World Bank's Commodity Markets Outlook, the pace of decline in global commodity prices this year is expected to be the fastest since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Óscar Guardado, announced that as of april 28th, the delivery of agricultural packages to more than half a million small producers of basic grains will begin, in order to support their economies and guarantee the supply of corn, one of the most important foods in the basic food basket.

The Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (ONEC), reports that as of march 2023, the general Consumer Price Index was 129.08, registering a monthly variation of 0.09%, being this variation 0.50 percentage points lower compared to march 2023.

El Salvador's energy exports grew 1,860%: Forbes

According to the international communication magazine Forbes, only in the year 2022 energy exports had a growth of 1,860%, according to data from the Banco Central de Reserva  (BCR), to nearby countries such as Guatemala and Costa Rica.
