
Finance minister Jerson Posada met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Qatari Embassy in El Salvador, Fahad Salem Al-Marri, to discuss issues of interest to bilateral relations between the two nations.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the importance of expanding cooperation and mutual support between El Salvador and Qatar, as well as continuing to identify opportunities to strengthen existing ties.
Posada emphasized that these types of meetings allow for open dialogue with representatives of other countries and the exploration of areas where mutually beneficial initiatives can be developed. The meeting also provided an opportunity to monitor institutional relations between the two nations.
The Finance minister noted that El Salvador remains interested in continuing to build new opportunities for cooperation, particularly by strengthening communication channels and working together with international partners.
The presence of the Qatari diplomatic representative facilitated an exchange of perspectives on issues of common interest and reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to continue working in a coordinated manner. The meeting is part of efforts to strengthen El Salvador’s international relations and expand collaboration with countries that can contribute to developing new opportunities for the country.
At the end of the meeting, Posada thanked the Qatari Chargé d’Affaires for his visit and for the openness shown in continuing to promote joint work. The official emphasized the importance of maintaining these spaces for dialogue to advance initiatives that strengthen the bilateral relationship.
With this outreach, El Salvador and Qatar reaffirm their commitment to deepening their ties and expanding cooperation, keeping the door open for future initiatives and projects of interest to both nations.
