PROESA signs economic agreement for the Trifinio El Salvador region

The Vice President of El Salvador, Felix Ulloa, the Executive Director of Plan Trifinio, Jorge Urbina and the President of the Organismo Promotor de Exportaciones e Inversiones de El Salvador (PROESA), Salvador Gómez Góchez signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement that will guarantee the economic development of Trifinio El Salvador.

The signing of this agreement will benefit the northern area of the departments of Santa Ana and Chalatenango to promote investment opportunities in the region. Specialists from both institutions will begin the elaboration of a Draft Bill to promote development poles in El Salvador considering the Trifinio Region as a starting point.

"With this signature we reaffirm the commitment of the Central Government to work for the welfare of all salvadorans, who are oriented to facilitate more investments to come and establish themselves successfully in the country", president of PROESA, Salvador Gómez Góchez.

In addition, the leader of PROESA emphasized: "the agreement will provide technical assistance to those small or large producers who intend to export so they can do so, also to bring to this area of the country private, national and foreign investment projects".

Vice President Felix Ulloa said: "This agreement between Plan Trifinio and PROESA will mark a before and after for this region because we will generate more development in coordination with Central Government institutions".

"This signing of the agreement will allow us to dynamize the economy of the region so that it will be an added value for the generation of employment and to revalue the internal development in this area", executive director of Plan Trifinio, Jorge Urbina.
