For people who purchase regular gasoline in the central, western and eastern zones, they will see an increase of US$0.15 with a suggested price of US$4.26 and US$4.22.

For carriers who use diesel, they will see an increase of US$0.14 in the central and eastern zones. Likewise, in the western zone the increase is US$0.13 with a suggested price of US$4.03 and US$3.99.

In addition, fuel expert, Julio Villagrán, reported through his twitter account that for each gallon of super gasoline salvadorans pay US$0.86 in taxes, in regular US$0.85 and in diesel US$0.68.

The best option so that your pocket is not affected is to fill up your vehicle's tank today, at the gas station that offers the prices that suit your needs.

MINEC indicates that the increases are due to some external factors such as, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia continues to affect oil costs and the reduction of oil reserves and derivatives, reported by the International Energy Agency.
