Salvadorans who buy premium gasoline in the central zone will find it at US$4.93, regular at US$4.68 and diesel at US$4.31 per gallon.
Those who prefer to buy a gallon of super gasoline in the western zone will find it at US$4.94, regular at US$4.69 and diesel at US$4.32.
In the eastern zone the cost of super fuel will be US$4.98 per gallon, US$4.72 for regular and US$4.36 for diesel.
The factors which could influence the increases according to the institution is that the International Energy Agency and the American Petroleum Institute (API), announced in their weekly reports, decreases in the oil reserves of the United States, thus increasing the international prices of hydrocarbons.
The West Texas barrel registered an increase of US$0.49 or 0.61%, trading at US$80.58. Brent futures rose US$0.75, or 0.89%, trading at US$84.99.
Refinery shutdowns for maintenance in the United States and Canada affect supplies in the region, increasing international gasoline and diesel fuel oil prices.
In addition, production cuts in Saudi Arabia and Russia are keeping international hydrocarbon market prices up.
